Production of Pioner boats started in 1959, and from the outset safety has always been at the forefront of all our designs. Our boats are fully buoyant and have a double skin, one-piece construction with no welds or joins. The decks have an anti-slip floor pattern and there are no sharp edges onboard.

|
Pioner boats are made from rotationally moulded Polyethylene. This material requires little or no maintenance and can withstand the roughest of treatment. All our boats are UV stable, so they will not degrade when exposed to sunlight for any length of time. If you are unfortunate enough to damage your Pioner it can easily be repaired with the use of a hot air gun and a Polyethylene welding rod.

Quality:
An independent quality control consultant ensures that we conform to stringent ISO9002 standards and regularly inspects our factory, situated in Bjorkelangen, Norway. All our boats are CE marked and tested by external bodies such as TUF, GS and the Canadian coastguard.

Designers:
Pioner boats are developed and produced in Norway. It has been said that 'if a boat is good enough for Norway then it is good enough for the rest of the world'. As well our own team of designers, technicians and testers we use internationally recognised designers such as Eivind Amble (Windy, Fjord, Saga and such specialist boats as lifeboats etc) and Helga Duus (Ibiza, Master, Viknes etc).
